Bass Course No. 8 – Hanon Exercise 7

Hanon Bass Exercise 7 is the 8th free example of my Bass course. Sheet music for download is included.

I arranged the 7th exercise of the book “Hanon – The Virtuoso Pianist” for electric-Bass.

I use this as warm-up exercises every day.

Start very slow without a metronome first, and after memorizing, it, begin slowly with a metronome.

Take a close look at the plucking hand. I´m using the raking technique to achieve a nice legato. Try to play with an even attack with the two plucking fingers.

You find the formula on the top of the sheet music. This are the scale tones from the start tone of the exercise. 1 5 means root and 5th.
