Bass Course No.6 – Hanon Exercise 5

Hanon Bass Exercise 5 is the 6th free example of my Bass course. Sheet music for download is included.

I arranged the 5th exercise of the book “Hanon – The Virtuoso Pianist” for electric-Bass.

I use this as warm-up exercises every day.

Start very slow without a metronome first, and after memorizing, it, begin slowly with a metronome.

You will find the next exercise on my website in two weeks.

Take close look at the plucking hand. I´m using the raking technique to achieve a nice legato.

You find the formula on the top of the sheet music. This are the scale tones from the start tone of the exercise. 1 5 means root and 5th.
