I was playing in the Motown Band “Respect” for a few Years. We had a great time! This is one of My favorite tunes. James Jamerson was a significant influence of mine! Love this music.

I’m working on James Jamerson Basslines with my students, and they like it a lot.

I teach the technique Jamerson used in his Basslines an analyze it. He used a lot of chromatics, arpeggios an scales for his transitions and incredible16th note lines.
